It's 6:00 am. We are up and getting ready to leave for a parking lot near Fidenza, which is a small place near Parma. We are going to watch cheese being made.

This is an especially foolhardy thing to do on my part, because two things that W absolutely detests are: (1) getting up early, (2) cheese. He's also a surly traveller in the best of times.

We are staying overnight in a small hotel in the country so that I can prepare myself mentally for Plumbing Hell (Coming Monday to an appartment near you!), and W can relax, if only a teensy bit.
